The Cullman County Fair is celebrating its 51st year. 30,000 people flow through those gates annually to walk the midway, take a spin on all the rides and walk through the exhibit halls.
Another yearly event that brings thousands of people to Cullman County is the Bloomin’ Festival held each April as a fund-raiser for St. Bernard Preparatory School. More than 150 artists and craftsmen set up on the beautiful grounds. The two-day event features live music, great food and some of the best crafts you’ll find anywhere.
Cullman was founded by German Col. John Gottfried Cullmann. We celebrate our heritage every year with the Oktoberfest. Events include a street dance, arts and crafts show, German meals at several restaurants, the Oktoberfest tent featuring musical entertainment all day, children’s activities and much more.
