David Crockett State Park Laurel Hill Lake- 325 acre lake home to at least 10 species of freshwater fish. Camping and picnic areas provide a fun and relaxing atmosphere for family and friends. VFW Lake- Although smaller in size, the 22 acre lake offers the same experiences and fun filled atmosphere as that of its brethren. Shoal Creek- Shoal Creek is the destination for those looking for an exciting adventure as you canoe your way down the crystalline creek. Many stops along the way allow for swimming and picnicking while enjoying the beautiful Tennessee scenery. Laurel Hill Wildlife Management Area is a 14,000 acre hunters' paradise. The area offers many wild game species such as: deer, turkey, hog, and quail. Not a hunter? Don't worry, you can come to enjoy the wonderful scenery of wildlife and the atmosphere of being in the wild. We are located an hour's drive from Nashville's professional and collegiate athletics teams such as the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, and Vanderbilt Commodores. |
